Parent Teacher Organization (PTO)

1

The Alva School PTO is a great way to get plugged in as a Rambler parent while truly benefitting your child and the school. The PTO is dedicated to supporting the education of our students by fostering relationships between the school, our parents, our teachers and our community...and we invite you to join the cause! Throughout the year the PTO coordinates and supports special events and programs which benefit students in grades K-8 as well as the faculty and staff. (See list below for examples). Of course, these events can only become a reality with volunteers. We understand everyone is busy but, if you can commit to just one event or program, it would be a tremendous help. Some projects are done at school, some are done in the community and some can be done from home. Even one hour can make a big difference as many hands make light work! Interested in learning more? Please contact PTO President Jessica Watkins at.... or attend a PTO meeting. Meetings are held on the 3rdThursday of the month at 6 p.m. in the Media Center.
